We carry a large inventory of Tiger Maple (Red Maple) in all thicknesses and a limited inventory of Curly Maple (Sugar Maple) in 4/4, 5/4, and 8/4. This maple is from Northern PA/NY., and is selected for strong figure in a fine to broad stripe, with minimal dark heartwood. We also carry small quantities of straight maple in wide widths. The 4/4 and 5/4 lumber ranges from 5" to 20" in width and comes in single boards, matched sets and flitched logs. There are some shorts for panels and drawer fronts and wide boards designated for matching two piece headboards. We keep matched sets of drawer and panel stock and sets for pieces like secretary desks with 14"-16" pieces for lids, 11"-14"+ pieces for panels and matching drawer fronts and a writing surface. | ||||||

| The 8/4 comes in widths up to 14+" in single planks and in matched sets for chair leg stock and table tops. The 10/4, 12/4, 16/4, 20/4, and 24/4 is primarily cut for turning and leg stock and is cut extra plump and in multiples for matching squares and is available in squares, single planks and matched sets of planks. There are shorts available for low posts and leg stock as well. We cut matched sets of wide boards for table tops in 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, and 8/4. The tops are 2-4 boards wide and range from 5' to 12' long. We also stock 10/4 and 12/4 bed rails in 4" widths for poster beds. | |||||||
